Anyone recommend a newer phone system with a small price to replace an 820 Lucent with four lines and eleven stations. The phones are analog 5 button. presently the intercom/door opener is a separte system. the credit card swiper runs part-time off the fourth line, and the fax machine has its own line.

A sales guy recommends a legend system with two 408 gs/ls atl cards, with programing & training(?), and use the old phones for $2k. I'm pretty sure the 5 button's won't work.

I'd like to keep them, but we also like the intercom feature. Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention that after hours messages are kept by the phone compnay voice mail.

After thoughtfull consideration I think a Partner ASC system will work best:
R5 processor (software from web);
2x 308EC;
5 slot carrier;
1x 18D phone;
10x partner6 phones; and
a contact closure for 2 doors.

Does 2552+tax sound right?

also includes a voice messaging pc card r2.

May want to check prices against Metrolinedirect.com they seem to be pretty reasonable.

For analog equipment...2k seems high. Check around for other
pricing options.
