I have an available extension at 5391. How can I assign that to an available TN I have?

If you are building a digital phone, assign key 0 SCR 5391. If it is an analog set, then assign DN 5391.

best way to build a new phone (analog or digital) is to find one that is the same type as your new set then go to ld 20 cpy.

Can someone explain these 2 lines:

CFTN ll ss cc uu ?
DES NETW

I don't understand exactly what they do or what values I need to use. Thanks.

CFTN ll ss cc uu Copy From TN - This is where you enter the Terminal Number of a set you want to copy FROM. ll ss cc uu stands for 'loop shelf card unit'. If you're on a Model 11, this will be just cc uu (card and unit)

DES NETW A 1 to 6 character Station Designator. Can be anything you like, such as the phone type or a department name. In this case it's been called 'NETW'.

btw des does not usually show with calling name, i've seen jack numbers there as well.. that looks like a station used in the "network" area...

Your correct John.

The Des is limited to amount of letters you can use also. Just a quick way for me to identify roughly where that number is in the Plant.

BTW John,
I appreciate all the info you post here. I usually just lurk in the back ground. Excellent job[medal]
