New digital extension...

Hello, i need to create a 2616 digital extension with 3 lines and hunting to 457

need to create the three lines first, and how?

The easiest way is to do a cpy of one of your sets that are already built then do a easy change to get the line appearance you want and have the hunt/ fdn to the 457 number you mentioned.

i dont have any extension with three lines

Just copy any 2616 phone that has all the features you want the new phone to have, Like Huuting, Vmail, Forwarding, ect. then you can change it to add the 3 lines you want.

What doyou mean by (LINE) A trunk or a DN?

What do you mean by Phantom Line and how are you going to use it?

you don't create lines in this switch, in a rolm you build ext and add them to sets..

dn xxx (the vacant number you want on key 0
now do a change

x x (the tn of the set you just built

hunt 457

key 1 xxx (number for key 1)
key 2 xxx (number for key 2)

that will give you a new 2616 with three new numbers that forward no answer and hunt to 357...
