We just got a new group of DID numbers 9400-9420. Our current block is 2800-2899. We use "9" do access an outgoing route. How do I route the New 94xx numbers to say a dn 44xx. Is this possible with the lead number being the access code?

Thank you in advance.
Don

That is done in LD49 and called Incoming Digit Conversion (IDC) At least it is possible...another more expert poster will follow I hope. I am not long on IDC

You can use IDC table to translate incoming DID digits to any internal DNs.
LD 49 NEW/CHG IDC xx to create/modify an IDC table.
LD 16 CHG RDB IDC=YES, DCNO/NDNO = xx to enable IDC in route.

before you jump into ld 49, are you getting 3 or 4 digits from the provider?

Something similar to this recently happened to our county phone system. They had to quit using 9 for an outside line and program things to use 8 instead.
