New Connection

Hi

Not sure if this is the correct forum, so apologies in advance.

In VB10 Express I am trying to create a new connection for a Bindingsource control. I select the database, dataset and then click new connection, but the dialog box does not show.

Does anyone know a reason for this?

Any help would be most appreciated

Thank you for replying.

In its simplest form there is no code.

I create a new project, place the databinding control onto a form and then try to add a datasource to the control.

I click database, then dataset and then new connection. A dislogue box is supposed to appear to setup the connection. It never appears. It goes back to the form.
