I am using Platinum 4.8 with the Btrieve

I would like to create a new company with data from our existing company for testing purposes.

Could someone please advise how I can do this. Thank you

Create the new company in Platinum and once created it will give you the new directory name. Then copy your existing data to the new directory that was created. You should be in business.

I created the new company and copied the existing data into the new folder, however when I ran a report I got a message in the Queue Manager stating: "Company Not Defined: TEST(Name of the newly created Compnay)" and the report did not run.

Please advise further. Thank you

When you set it up in Platinum under the Admin user did you initialize the company? You should for all the modules. Also you must then select the user and add the company to that user. Then you should be able to copy the data over and use it.

Have got exactly the same problem. But no luck even after trying Nelson's solution

This question is covered in the system manuals.

You need to give each user who intends to use the test company access. >>Admin>>User Setup>>Modify User.

You also need to update the PAS user by just clicking next through those same screens.
