New BCM450 question

Recently upgraded old BCM 400 3.6 to new BCM450 system. Group pick up is an issue. In one department the users use pick up very often. The issue is the group can pick up intercom calls and incomming calls to any set that is fine. The calls to a set on its DID can not be picked up. We confirmed the target lines are programmed public and not private. ???? we are stumped!!!
 
Sounds like Schedule Services is OFF instead of Auto or ON at the Control Set. The Restriction service is default as per the control set which may have line/set restrictions for those DID trunks.

We have an issue on power outage and restarts where Schedule Services time schedule doesn't activate and toggling the Schedule Services from Auto to OFF and back to Auto. (Long Distance then routes over Normal (Expensive Route) rather than 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

So that group of sets is in a building on their own from the main office- were in programming is the control set- is it in target lines for the DID lines line by line ??? And we need to turn the scheduel service to auto or on ???
 
What happens when you try to Pick Up the call?
 
If its an intercom call to a set or call from main hunt group i hit pick up and i answer the call from any set. If its a DID call to a set it says DENIED IN ADMIN if i do a pick up 75 or 76
 
Strange because accordingt the installer guide it should even pick up if they are marked as private.

From 7.1 Installion Guide
"You can set a target line to Private (default is Public), however, such features as Call Pickup can still answer these lines at other telephones in the group.
 
I think it is ring only since they are IP sets 2004 type not lots of buttons. comes in on intercom buttons...
