I'm trying to add a new Analog Card NT8D09AK...

I plugged it into an open IPE slot.

what next??

i'm a newbie....

I may be way off base with this. Are there other slots on the shelf that are open or unused? If you place a tone on the switch tail at the MDF does the cable tone out to the correct connector on the back plane for your card 12? Are other analog cards on this shelf?

there are several other analog and digital cards. I have approx 6 slots open.

do a stat on it, or wait for a idle time. you need a maint window or a spare card
