New Aloha 6.7.26 installation issue: CtlSvr could not be started and unable to find EDC Com server.

Hi All,

I have installed new aloha version 6.7.26 on our new BOH unit, Windows 7 32bit computer, in replaced to a broken BOH pc.
After I installed, it goes to aloha successfully installed but when I open Aloha Manager their is an error saying:
CtlSvr could not be started, see this:

and when I opened Aloha EDC also, error prompted:
Unable to find EDC Com server, see this:

AlohaFTP, EDC and CtlSvr cannot be found also in Services.msc

Is their any way we could fix this issue?

PLEASE HELP!!!

your installtion was not finished. look for register.bat or something simular in same drive as aloha installed. that will register the services.

Actually, I did register it already with these bat files Register_Iber.bat and Register_Iber_6_1_15_0.bat but still got the same issue when trying to open the Aloha manager and aloha EDC.

AlohaFTP, CtlSvr, RadiantHearbeat are now appearing in the services.msc except edcsvr.

We are using aloha 6.7.26 version installer.

edc is still not registered
try this
%iberdir%\aloha\bin\Edcsvr.EXE /Service /s /LOCALACCOUNT /iberdir c[highlight #FCE94F]:\bootdrv\aloha[/highlight]
make sure highlighed area is the path where aloha is installed

Also you are using an outdated 6.7 Current release is 6.7.67 without New Aloha Manager
EDC can be upgraded to ver 14

make sure you are logged in as a user with admin rights to register the files. Also make sure that your permissions are properly set on the bootdrv share
