Hi all

I have just purchased a second hand 3300 cxi and 16 5212 phones.

I have so far managed to reset the admin password (thanks to a post here) and I have had a poke around to see where everything is.

Our LAN comprises of a draytec router, an sbs2003 server and about 30-40 devices(printers,pc's,nas,CCTV ect) about 90% has static ip's and all switches are gigabit enabled. Currently the sbs box deals witth dchp.

As I don't have anything that can do level 3 switching am I right in thinking that i won't beagle to have the voice on it's own V LAN and am best leaving all dchp to the sbs server and just add the correct options to the dchp server? As I'm looking at using UC and tapi ect

Note all the phones will be directly connected to the switch on the cxi with about 6 having pc's piggy backed off the phone

We have 2 isdn lines giving 4 channels of trunk , our fax is currently on an extension that has an external ddi number routed threw to it , how do I set up this routing in the 3300?

you could try the config wizard

But I suspect if you have bought a seconhand system and you have no knowledge of Mitel 3300 programming then this is going to be a challenge for you.

Thanks For the link, any chance you have a copy of v 1.5 of the wizard, as we are back on V8 of the system software

thanks

When posting it is useful to provide software release details so that you get the correct advice for the level you are using.

Here is the 1.5.1 MiCW which is for Rel 8.0.7.16_2 UR1

If you have Rel 8.0.5.12 you will need 1.5
