We need to add an old Aviion server running Windows NT 4.0
to our current network.
The thing is I have not had much exposure to windows networking.
Can someone walk me through the process, so I can add this NT box to our XP network? I'm assuming I have all of the information need in terms of IP addresses, user names and passwords etc, I just don't know how to do it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Windows NT 4.0? have you installed new Patcher, such as Networking packages from windows, and service packs, latest?

Well if you have done so, then use your windows xp CD to install some network features NT will need to interactive with Windows XP, then go to Control Panel (On NT) and try to look for the Networking Applet, and there you will be able to change the Domain name, Group name, IP and stuffs... then it should work in your XP Network....

If that's not enough then tell me what else u need... ill be arround...
