How can I network windows 95 with modems?
Sorry but I don't know much about this topic so you might have to be descriptive...

Will you use PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network)?
Or there will be no PSTN between them? If so, then you need modems that support settings for leased line. And honestly I was trying this just on windows NT. Answer to this questions please, and I will give you the necessary steps.

as far as i remember, you can set up direct modem-to-modem networks in windows95, the same way as laplink(nullmodem) cables. if i remember right i think you do it from the same place as you make regular dialup connections.
one have to be server and one have to be client.
btw.. do yourself a favour and get a newer os
imho, even linux is more user friendly than win95

TheGrey, you cannot do this with two modems so easy.
You have to set them to work in leased line mode. And not many modems are able to work correctly in leased line mode.
And then to make some tricks in the registry. Between NTs it is working, using RAS over serial connection. Gia Betiu
