Sorry for posting my question here but I have a routinging question

I have two computers connected.

computer 1 : 10.0.0.20/10.0.0.1
computer 2 : 10.0.0.123/10.0.0.20

In computer 1
- I have a loopback adapter : 10.0.0.1
- I have a vmware with server IP address : 10.0.0.25/10.0.0.1

I can pin from computer 2 to computer 1
but I cant ping from Computer 2 to the vmware server.

Can you please help me in finding the way to resolve this issue

Hi,

I'm not sure you are experiencing routing problem, because it's seems all IP address belong to the same subnet, it's mean no routing process working behind.
The closest problem because your virtual network card on vmware not yet bridged to physical network adapter.

I have link that maybe useful for you.

Hope it helps.

Thanks

Benny

There is no such way of displaying IP address settings and nobody on the planet displays them this way.

IP address settings are displayed as
- IP address
- Subnet mask
- gateway
