I'm setting up 3 MICS's networked together with point to point T-1's. Will the internal caller ID pass from switch to switch? From what I'm hearing, each switch has its own trunks for inbound and outbound calls. The T-1's are for 4 digit dialing from site to site only.

thanks

I think not. You can get this to work, but you need to buy PRI keycodes for all 3 switches and MCDN keycodes as well. Then the internal callerid will pass through. You can get most of the routing to work using E&M over T1 and certainly get calls through, but the CallerID uses the advanced features of the PRI and MCDN protocols.

It might be easier to use MCK units to tie them together.
Everything (all 3 sites) could work off the PBX at one site. It might also be cheaper.

The MCKs are a great solution if all of the trunks can be located where the switch is. If you need to have analog trunks at all 3 sites, then the MCKs wont suffice for your needs.

the advanced networking is available from 5.0 onwards ... but 6.1 has some bugs taken care of.
