We are attempting to network a Magix 4.0 to a IP Office 8.0.43. There were two Magix systems that were succesfully networked together and we upgraded one end to an IPOffice. We followed Avaya IP office tech tip #134 and havent had any success. The pt to pt circuit looks good, when we dial from the IPO to the Magix it actually takes the channel out of service. I was wondering if any one encountered similar problems. Thank you for your help.

Because of IPO licensing we are only using 8 channels of the PRI between the two locations. It takes one of the eight channels out that it used. Interestingly enough we found that we are able to dial through from the AA in the IPO to the Magix one time and after that the channel goes out of service. Subsequent calls do not work at all and they in fact take the channel out of service as well.
