Networking BCM50 to IP Office

I need to Network a BCM-50 rel.5 with PRI to an Avaya IP ofice also with a PRI. the systems will be side by side till next June then the IP office will be relocated to another site, but still needs to be networked together.
(a) any suggestions how to side by side network them together?
(b) what changes would be needed once separated?

You can setup IPO PRI as CO to give dchannel. Just select it. Use a T1 cross over cable if they can reach each other otherwise a point to point T1 between sites will work. If all else fails you can alwyas setup as a QSIG trunk.

You would use ARS for outgoing calls and ICR tabels for incoming calls.

Line Signaling:
The field can be set to either CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) or CO (Central Office). This field should normally be left at its default of CPE. The setting CO is normally only used in lab back-to-back testing.

The systems (for now) are on the same backboard, the x-over cable I understand. do I need to use MCDN? what would the network config be?

MCDN is not needed as it's not understood between the IP Office and the Nortel equipment. I have setup a SIP configuration between the two, but not a T1/PRI connection. And of course the only thing MCDN provides is a D-Channel connection between Norstar/BCM and another Nortel component such as a Meridian device, ie: CS1000.

If anyone else has been able to, please enlighten me.

Have you tired setting IPO to DMS100 and CO then the Norstar to CPE?
