You need to open some ports on the firewall that correspond to your server and client:
Open UDP & TCP both ways thru the firewall--Set/restrict/ or leave the standard parameters....they are:
service ports: 7937-9938
connection ports: 10001-30000
You will also need to consult someone about security issues as to whether or not you are allowed to open those ports on your firewall.
There is much more to it, but this can serve as a start for you...there's a section in the Legato documentation that can help...
