Networker is behaving very strangely, i have only one unix/oracle server for which I have backups scheduled to run, these backups are failing as they are unable to mount/unmount the required volume to the drive. Backups which has the required tape(in appr.pool) mounted runs fine. The error I get when I try to mount/unmount a volume manually is :
SJI FAILURE[0 X 29] NOT READY, ASC 0X80ASCQ 0X07
and I see the following in the daemon log file generated by networker:
04/17/02 09:42:52 AM nsrindexd: Running nsrck to check client file indices
04/17/02 09:42:52 AM nsrd: RAP error: there are more clients connected than numb
er of licenses.
04/17/02 09:42:53 AM nsrck: checking index for 'orclprod1'

ccupying 366 KB
04/17/02 09:42:53 AM nsrck: Completed checking 1 client(s)
04/17/02 09:43:01 AM nsrd: NetWorker Edition
04/17/02 09:43:01 AM nsrd: License Summary:

what does the above mean? please advise

Hi,

Pity you do not describe your Legato version and Op. system ...

However - The RAP error we also get since upgrading to 6.02,we disregard it normaly, since it caused us no greaf.

The unmount with ASCQ error normally dissapears after increasing the default unmount/eject/unload parameters in the media->JBX>view hidden params screen. "Long live king Moshiach !"

I am on version 6.01 on sun solaris 5.8
I don't see the view hidden parameters screen when I run nwadmin, where will I find it..
Please advise

Media - >Jukebokes - >view -> detailed "Long live king Moshiach !"
