Networker Notification Help

I have a real problem with Networker notification system, Our enviroment demands little or no manual checkups to see what has failed to backup, nsrlog, savegrp completion reports,emails etc all require a person to check on them, what i would like to do is networker server to page me or send me email on a perticular failure of cleint and networker process, i.e failure of Networker service, over the weekend no one is avallable to verify backups manually, this is a serious concern.
Does any one have any ideas, scripts, pre and post backup processing ability of networker such as vaguely decribed in networker client setup remote tab ?
we have controlM server, that can intersept failure emails sent to it or messages and alert operations staff, please include detail insturction, your help will be greatly appreciated.

We have all of the savegroup completion messages go to a script which among other things sends failure messages to the appropriate Sys Admin.

Would you be willing to share the script and any install instructions on contructing such an enviroment it wouold be a huge help
