Here is the problem:
A Win2K Networker7.1 client with multiple TCP/IP cards;
some savesets are successfull, others are not
The error message is "Operation would block"

If I disable the second ethernet card, then savegrp is OK

So my question: is it possible to configure nsrexecd to use only one interface? (without using hosts file if possible)

Thanks

You can use select ethernet cards to send the data through. In a Windows NW GUI,

-> Click on "Options" and Choose "Customize"
-> Enable the "Display Hidden Attributes" attribute and come out after saving changes

From the "Configure" tab:

-> Choose "Manage Clients"
-> Right click on the client in question and choose "Edit"
-> Goto the "Preferences" tab and set the "alias" name of the client meant for your 'preferred' interface in the "Server networker interface" attribute.
-> Save the changes and quit

After setting this attribute, NetWorker sends/receives the data for that client only through the preferred interface.

HTH,

Great, it works fine for Disk saveset !
but not for SYSTEM saveset?? it may be an other problem.

Thanks.
