Have anyone seen this before?

Networker shows tapes mounted while they are not in the
autochanger. Autochanger wont respond to any Networker
command. Networker says "Server <servername>: No such file or directory" when issuing any command to the autochanger.

Restart of server and jukebox made no difference.

I've learned that corrupt nsrjb.res file could be a possible cause. Anyone experienced this?

Regards,

StefanS

Setup:
Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Legato Networker 6.0.2
Compaq Storagewoks ESL 9326DX

Restart of the MDR-box solved the problem.

Stefans,

Just out of curiosity... are you using the scsi drivers native to Win2K or vendor specific? My team and I once encountered the very same situation. Restarting seemed to be successful but only for a couple days. We ended up installing the Windows native drivers and the problems disappeared.

Just wanted to share the info with you. :)

Take care,

I am experiencing the same thing, after an Upgrade from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2

I checked the nsrjb.res file (it is corrupted). Just run jbconfig (previously delete jukebox AND DEVICES) and re config the whole thing, inventory it and that should be it.
