hmm can't we use nsrwatch for this.

It is quite different than nsrwatch. It shows ie. only those tape drives which are used - so if you have 33 drive silo, DDS environment and 30 storage nodes nsrwatch shows you nothing . With this tool you can observe only this backups you need or you can limit the display by regexp. You can observe the speed, sessions, destination, total speed ... You have to try to use it and you will see the diffrents betwean nsrwatch and this tool. You have to remeber tah you have to install perl-Curses library and ncurses libs to use it.

I have added another functionality to this tool. There is information about pending tapes and when you pres 'p' detailed info about pending tapes is provided.
