Networker 7.1

Hi,

I have installed Networker 7.1, upgrading from 6, however, it is a fresh install and onto a new server. One of the clients I have reinstalled and now in the monitor section I am receiving the following message:

"media notice: check sotrage node: clientname(dstart: invalid pidor bad return from md_dd)"

Any idea's how I can stop these messages appearing?

There was a bug with this release where an update resulted in the fact that NW was installed as a client and not as a storage node.

To cure that, deinstall the software and install it as a storage node.

Ok I will do, however, will this have an impact on the licensing? Would I need a further Storage Node license?

I just assume that it was a SN before. In this case nothing changes. However, do not forget that you will need an update enabler anyway.
