networker 6.1.1 HP-UX 11.0 client : unresolved symbol

Hello,

I'm running a Networker 6.1.1 server on HP-UX 10.20 and several clients on 10.20

Now I've installed a client with HP-UX 11.0 and the Networker client version 6.1.1 for HP-UX 11. When I want to backup : I get the following error message :

/usr/lib/dld.sl : unresolved symbol : acl (code) from /opt/networker/bin/save

save : exited on signal 6

You need some HP-UX OS patch to use nw6.11

I guess you're right, but do you have any idea which patches, because I can't find anything more specific on the Legato site

I would recommend installing the latest patch bundle that HP have released. They release patch bundles every three months. They comprise of all the recommended patches.

I currently run HP-UX 11.00 with Decemeber 2000 patch bundles.

Hello,

I contacted Legato (without support contract) and they gave me a list of patches to install (for free !!!) Everybody would presume this is normal. You expect software to work when you pay for it

I installed these patches and it works fine
