Networked Call Display Problem (PRI)

In the Merlin Legend network document it states for a PRI:

Intersystem Calls:

For intersystem calls, the caller’s
extension label and extension number
can be displayed at recipient’s MLX (and
some DEFINITY) display telephones
across the network.

I have a Merlin Legend r7 v12 and a Merlin Magix r3 networked together. They are both located in the same room, via cross over cable.

This is working correctly when going from Legend to MAGIX; the display will show both name and extension... But, when calling from MAGIX to Legend it is only displaying the name.

I have verified the Display Pref setting for Name and Number is set for each extension on both systems.

If I change the display preference to "number" (on the MAGIX) then the display will just show OUTSIDE (trunk name) for the incoming call from the Legend...

Any idea's of what might be incorrect?

Switch Numbers? What 2 are you using?

Make sure 1 is Merlin Network and the other is Merlin PBX.

Thank you for the reply Merlinman! I truly appreciate the help and respect you knowledge of these systems--I've read so many posts where you know exactly whats gone wrong!

I just double checked to make sure what I wrote down was correct, and they are set as follows:

MAGIX=Switch Identifier 21; Merlin Network
LEGEND=Switch Identifier 22; Merlin PBX

I tried swapping which one is Network vs/PBX but it did not change anything... Still getting name & number when calling Magix to Legend but only name when calling Legend to Magix... And it is more important to me to have both on the Magix side than on the Legend side.

It just doesn't make any sense to me why it would be working in one direction and not the other.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
