I have an IP phone, X-Box, Vsee, Google Talk and some other bandwidth hogs on my home network.

Even when the all the machines are off, the activity light is pegged.

Does anybody make a box/application that can tell which app is sucking the bandwidth out of my network?

(I use NetMeter - but that only tells me what's happening on a single box).

The problem with ethereal is it will only capture what's on the port, and if you're on a typical home network switch, you can't do any mirroring to see what's going on with the other switchports. Try securing your network first; implement some basic port blocking and firewall measures, if you're using wireless lock that down, see if that helps. I'm guessing your activity is high even with all your devices off because someone may be probing/using your network from the outside.
