Hello,
Did a search but nothing specific enough for me.
I have a room of 4 8-port linksys switches, modem, wireless router, and a 24-port switch in a 5'x10' room with a vent on the door, ambient temps at around 70F
How likely is it that the heat can cause some or all of these switches to "crap out"? One of the switches is a layer 3 and routes data between each of my 4 vlans. Everythign works fine until suddenly a couple switches stop working and need to be rebooted so that connectivity is regained.
Any ideas about heat and switches?
