Hi all,

I am trying to netowrk a sco box at a remote office(B) with no internet connection. Can I accomplish this using a modem from a PC at Office A to dial into SCO box at office B? Office B with the SCO box is netowrk with PCs but that site has no internet connection, therefore I cannot do a VPN. I want office A machines to see Office B machines.

man ppp

Hope This Help, PH.

Do you want to do this automaticaly or manualy? On either case do a man on uucp for some help. You will need to setup your modem in the /usr/lib/uucp/Devices file, the /usr/lib/uucp/Systems file, the /etc/inittab and in the /etc/gettydefs files. Again first thing to do is man on uucp. Also, you need to setup an nuucp account on both pc's with your login scripts. Both PC's need to be setup for remote communcations.
