network resource issue

currently while logged into domian under an admin profile when I try to access the domain through network resources I get the following message:

frost (domain name) not accessible:

no more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time becuase there are already as many connections as the computer can accept

I cant understand why

What os is the remote machine running? Sounds like a licensing issue...
