network registry?

I am part of a network of which i am the administrator and i have full access to the networked computers hard drives. Every computer is running Windows 2000 professional, what i would like to do is view the computers registry without setting up any remote admin features. Remember that i have full access to all the computer in question. Can this be done?

Of course! You can use regedit or regedt32 to "Connect Network Registry" or "Select Computer" , respectively. Is that what you're looking for?

Nah, i cant do that cas i need to install the remote administrator software thats comes with windows. I have already tried that . Any other ideas?

I think what brontosaurus is saying:
Open regedit on your PC
Choose registry from the drop down menu at the top
Choose connect network registry
Enter computer name that you want to connect to.

I don't know of any remote software that is needed for this.

I have tryed this and it says that we must have admin software setup and open on the computer.
