I want to delete the existing map (without reinstalling NNM) and rediscover my network .
What is the procedure to do that cleanly ?

many thank's

Salamo alikom,

I am new in this forum, i will suggest to you some rules to do, answer me if it works;

What you have to do is (you are about Re-doing your discovery):
1- ovstop
2- Removing folders
C:\Program Files\HP OpenView\databases\openview and C:\Program Files\HP OpenView\databases\eventdb

3- ovstart ovwdb
4- ovw -fields
5- ovstart

I hope that this will help you;-)

I would like to do the same but I am running NNM 7.0.1 on Sun OS 2.9. Basicly I would like to delete all existing networks and rediscover without uninstalling.

Thanks for help.

You can just create a new map and when satisfied you can make it the default map. There's more... but this can get you started.
