I have an issue with trying to ping workstations on our network. I can ping some workstations(50%) by name and ip but there are some workstations (50%) that I cannot ping by ip or name. Both are are own the same subnet, this is weird

Any suggestions?

Windows firewall on the machines you can't ping?

thanks guys..it was windows retarded personal firewall.

Totally agree with the sentiment. If you're on AD you can push out a GPO to turn that sucker off.
