Have a 12 ckient and server networ. All the clients can see each other and ping. None can see or pint the server, nor can the server ping any clients. All IP addy are in the same range, 192.168.0.xxx and subnet mask is ok. Tried different NIC and hub. At my wits end!! Any ideas what to look for?
Thanks,
Dave

Very hard to tell with out being there, but you might want to check the server's nic card configuration. If everyone can see everyone else and no one can see the server and the server can't see anyone...that has to be the source of your problem. Check your cat cables and make sure there are green lights at both ends (server computer and hub). Can the server see anything on the hub...different groups? I don't know how much you done so far, but this is just a start. Might want to watch your typing...hard to follow your post.
