Hi.I have a weird problem. After i installed a hp8000 network printer from a win2k printserver, i cannot select the paper size i want from any application. I have only A3, A4, A2 and 11x17 oversize. If i go to the printer preferences from the workstation , all the good paper size are there, 8x11, 8x14, 11x17, etc. Every tray is defined with the right paper. Every user have all the adminitrative right to the network printer. It is on some win2k workstation. Direct hp 8000 (tcpip)works fine. On some workstation it works, i don't know why.

this is gonna sound wierd, but do you have latest software installed on all workstations? I have had some problems with 8550 on netowrk with individuals in the network having old software driver installed. Newest version solved problems (things like paper size, duplexing, etc.) One thing I also did was download WebJetdirect admin software, installed on each workstation. That way I can configure 8550 from anywhere. Hope this helps!

I solved the problem. Win2k svpack3.
