network printer probs?

trying to setup a network printer (samsung ml6040) on a win 2k box, where the printer is attached to a win xp machine on a different network (win 2k=192.168.x.x , win xp=10.x.x.x) Both machine have duel ip's setup BUT cannot get the 2k machine to see the xp printer....

can anyone help?
 
This is a POSSIBLE solution, not necessarily the one you need ...

I'm assuming that 192.168.x.x machine is on a router (like you might use in your home to hook multiple computers together). If this is the case you may have to use the address of the router itself to identify the printer. Then configure the router to deliver jobs to the printer by assigning TCP/IP print services to a specific port on the router.

I know that's a little vague but maybe it will point you toward a solution until someone can give you a REAL answer.
