Network Opt 81c Meridian Mail to Opt11 through Cisco Router

We are about to install a option 11 in a small office offsite. They do not want to purchase a new Meridain mail system, they would like to use the main Meridian mail on the option 81c. The switches will be connected by a QSIG links into a Cisco Router then using VOIP to connect the sites. The Meridian Mail has network mail, the option 11 will have NMS.

My question is will the option 11 phones receive a MWI through the Cisco Router.

yes it should.

provided you put the right message waiting dn in correctly it should light the light.

if not you can always use remote notification or set up a key on the phones to monitor the mailbox
