Network Nighborhood configuration for both Network and Dial-Up adapter

Dial up is currently working with VPN. When a remote user comes to our office and connects to the network, it messes up some settings in Network Neighborhood. So when they try to dial in to VPN, it does not work anymore. This means I would have to reconfigure it again which is a hassle.

My question is, how can I configure it to where they can use either or for Dial-Up or Braud Band?

Do the login scripts for your network modify the policy on the client?

Sorry, but the first thing I am trying to figure out is how the client is being modified.
