When we used windows 95/98 there was a utility which allowed me to monitor who was logged on the network and what files they had open. This was very useful.
Is there any such utility for Win XP ?

Thanks in advance

Arun

Are you talking about the old Netwatcher? This only shows who is logged on to your computer and what files are open - it does not show the entire network. In XP the same things can be found at Start, Run, compmgmt.msc

In the Shared folders section, you will see the Shares, Sessions & Open files.

Yes the netwatcher. Thanks for the info.....
Thats all I need to monitor, who is logged on and what files.
