Network Faxing Confirmation

Hi all.

I've set up network faxing through our 2003 Server with a regular fax modem and I'm mapping it to all the workstations.

Everyone really likes the ease of use. But I've received alot of request from them to be able to get confirmation as to whether or not the fax went through.

So, is there a script or something I could run that would grab their internal IP when they access the fax modem, wait for the fax to either go through or fail, then either send them an emal or message them with the result.

I use it daily, its built into the fax server that comes with 2003 go into the fax configuration and find the box that says send a message to the sending station when the fax is complete.

it does send a message sayin that the fax is successful but if it fails it does not send a message. Usually my users yell at me when they dont get a confirmation box after 5 minutes or so then i can go find out why.

Well my users better be happy with what they get!!

I'll just tell them if they don't get any reply to re-send.

Besides, almost every failed fax has been due to the user putting in the wrong number or something...

Okay, I got it set up, and now I see it gives the user the option to be notified by a pop up or email, since I have messaging (pop up) enabled on the server I chose that, pop up. But now after about 14 minutes since the fax successfully went through, I haven't recieved any notification.

Any ideas? Was there something I missed? I checked again ont he server and everything looks fine.
