Network Drives

I have two mapped drives on the backup server, but Arcserve 11.5 fails to show these two drives when it comes to selecting what I need to backup?

Any ideas anyones?

Hi ,

Open the Registry,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ComputerAssociates\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\ Base\ASMgr

Created a REG_DWORD Value
Name: DiskTreeMyComputerShowRemote
Value: 1

Restart the services and see how it goes!!!

Also have you tried using thro preferred shares/Machines under the arcserve manager>>>(add the shares and see)

Hi,

This registry tweak will not work with 11.5. Looks like CA stopped support for displaying mapped drives on the GUI.

this used to work with AS2000 and even with 9 if im not wrong.

It is now a checkbox option in server admin IIRC - it was first changed in r11.1
