Does anyone recognize the software that Cisco Press uses for their network diagrams? Visio has 3D network elements but the Cisco Press objects are much more "clean and crisp"
 
You need to buy the stencils from Cisco, or become a certified partner to get that stuff. I don´t know about the licensing of this, but maybe you could get a copy from a certified partner.
 
There are some free Cisco stencils available from Fluke Networks.

you can pick up stencils for Visio, Fluke Networks included these stencils for integration into their automatic network diagramming pack - which let me tell you can save a lot of time!
