Network Connctivity problem... Can someone answer this 4 me please...

Question: A network administrator has installed a new router in the Lisbon office and is unable to backup the IOS image of the new router to the TFTP Server located in the Gibralter office. Given the network diagram, identify the source of the problem?

A) Incorrect default gateway of the TFTP Server
B) Incorrect subnet mask of the TFTP Server
C) Incorrect IP Address of the TFTP Server
D) Incorrect IP Address on e0 of the Gibralter Server
E) Incorrect subnet mask on the Lisbon Router

Now I thought the answer was A) because shouldn't the Default Gateway be 192.168.15.1? However, it states that the correct answer is E). How can the IP Address of the Default Gateway be the same as that of the Gibralter Server?

How do you work out that the default route should be 192.168.15.1?? There's nothing on the diagram configured with that address.

It looks like the e0 address on the Gibralter router is 192.168.15.8 and the TFTP server is connected to that network on 192.168.15.62 /26 (last host in that subnet). So, the gateway address is correct. It's the ethernet interface on the router.

This is why the mask is wrong, since the systems needs to route accross the router, it believes that the tftp is local to him. Since the mask is 255.255.240.0, it believes that the address is with in is range. The mask of the tftp is 255.255.255.192.

Bother router's subnet masks are wrong because they cause overlapping networkds with the one that TFTP server resides on.
