Hi

I want to make a network boot disk. I saw on another thread someone wrote it isn't worth it anymore. This was from 2 or 3 years ago... I don't have a Windows Server running to make it easier though.

Has anyone got a link to an actual manual for these executables you have to put on the boot disk?

ie
net initialise
net start (what other switches does net.exe have, what do
these ones do?)

netbind (same as above)
plus the files like tinyrfc.exe, tcptsr.exe, which ones access the protocol.ini and system.ini files? What lines in these files do what exactly?

Cheers

As I found googling previously. Quite a few good sites, but no actual manuals. But the PE bootable CD looks the way to go

I found this one via Google
You can download executable files that format a floppy and make it bootable in another OS.

Thanks anyway Rob. I have added both of the sites you mentioned to my favourites.
