Network Application

Hello all..

I've got an application written and ready to go, but need to setup installation so that it will read the database files and the runtime files from a network directory (because we are running Citrix as well as local clients).

I don't see anywhere in the setup wizard about a way to have it ask where the data files are located.

As an alternative, what files (for VFP6) do I need in the program directory to make the program run from a shortcut without having to do an installation? (ie in VFP5 you could do the vfp5enu.dll etc)

I think I might have found my own answer:

VFP6R.dll
VFP6ENU.dll

Anything else I might need?

- "INFO: Visual FoxPro 6.0 Required Run-Time Files". Note that this was written for the base release of VFP 6.0. You can check for the current versions of these files on a machine with SP5 installed and see what may need to be updated.
