NetWare Security Message

I have many workstations using Novell Client version 4.90.0.0 SP1a that have been getting a NetWare Security Message when they try to login.
The message says...

Internal error 0xFFFFF999 occurred. Try again.
If the error occurs again, restart your workstation and try again. If the error persists, contact your network administrator. Select the workstation only checkbox to login to the local workstation.

Any idea what could be causing this message?

Try SP2 (4.90.2).

If you haven't gotten an answer yet. Read up on NMAS. NW told us to remove NMAS in add/remove programs after client install, even latest client patch. Don't know why.
