I created a network dos boot disk.
*****Autoexec.bat
@ECHO OFF
SET PATH =A:pATH A:\NWCLIENT\;%PATH%
SET PROMPT=$P$G
CD \NWCLIENT
STARTNET.BAT
******NWCLIENT\Startnet.bat
:LOAD RTSODI
COPY A:\NWCLIENT\RTSODI\NET.CFG A:\NWCLIENT
SET NWLANGUAGE=ENGLISH
A:\NWCLIENT\LSL.COM
A:\NWCLIENT\RTSODI.COM
A:\NWCLIENT\IPXODI.COM
A:\NWCLIENT\VLM.EXE

*****net.cfg
Link Driver RTSODI

FRAME ETHERNET_802.2
NetWare DOS Requester
FIRST NETWORK DRIVE = H
MAX IPG = 0
preferred server = U42

Boot disk appears to work properly (no errors)
But when I try to change to F: or map
a drive to netware 6 server nothing happens.
I'm fairly new to netware environment.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

I can connect to server on all machines using
using Novell client 4.83 sp1 on normal boot.
I'm not sure if I can connect with IPX. IPX is bound to
to the servers nic.

I need this to work on IPX.

Hi BuffBiff,

How do you expect to see the F: drive when you are telling it that the First Network drive = H ?????

Good point. I did change this couple of times in experimenting
, thought it might be conflicting with other drives. Just trying random things in hope something would work. My original config was F, and it is set back to F but it still
doesn't work. Thanks for the response anyway.
