Netshield 4.1.6 hangs

Netware 5.1 sp4
Netsheild 4.1.6

Netshield hangs when I try to unload it. This has been a problem for over 12 months now. Why are NAI not fixing it? Is there a way round it.

Hi

You might wanna upgrade to NetShield 4.6 for NetWare.
NAI will not do any fixes for outdated software that are not supported anymore.

Thanks but I thought 4.1.6 is version 4.6. Isn't 4.1.6 the engine version that comes with 4.6?

Hi

Engine version has nothing to do with the version of the software. The current engine is 4.1.60, the next will be 4.2.40.

NetShield 4.6 is certified for NetWare 4.x, 5.x, 6.x
If you had this problem for 12 months I suggest that you contact McAfee support.

I could not find anything in their KB/Service portal regarding hangings when unloading on NetWare.
