Does any know how to upgrade Netscreen OS? I'm kind of new on this.... (on NS-100)

What is the differencev between V.2 and V.3?

When you download the OS from Netscreen, a document comes with it that gives details on how to upgrade. There are improvements between v2 and v3 but there was a complete overhaul of the OS with version 4.

You might as well go all the way. (multi-step process)
v4 will take some getting used to.
It is quite different but vastly improved.

Does anyone have the latest version 2 software? I need it badly, and don't want to wait for Netscreen's "we-say-that-we'll-respond-in-24-hours-but-you-canwait-till-we-get-to-you" registration mechanism. I have already registered, but have not yet received my UID and password.

If it is an urgent matter, if you call them up, after you registrer on line and they can expidite the registration process and get you the software pretty much right away.

Your UID is your company name and the password is the NS100 serial number.
