I know this is the wrong forum but i never get any responses from the netscape forum. I work for an isp and I have a customer that is having problems with messenger. when she tries to access the inbox folder she gets an error similar to this "unable to write to file, you do not have permission, check your permissions and try again". I have no idea what would be causing this and I dont want to tell the person to just "reinstall". Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>Matt

it sounds as if the server is locking her out of the inbox. to fix this problem you might try checking the server settings for her in the profiles.<br>you may still have to reinstall or download a new browser and components.<br>let me know if you have figured out the problem.
