Netscape hanging on save/load

Hi everyone,

I have a user with the following problem: Netscape will hang any time you try to save or load a file. For example, when using the "Save as" feature, or when downloading a file, or when trying to import bookmarks.

I've already uninstalled 7.0 and installed 7.1, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Are you receiving latency issues when cruizing the net? How much Disk Space do you have left?

I make sure that it is not just Internet traffic and I would then install another browser to see if you have the same issues (ie Internet Explorer).

Yes, I have the same problem. Both versions 7.0 & 7.1 take a very long time to save a downloaded file.

IE and Netscape version 4.7, which is still installed, save files in a normal manner, just milliseconds.

I am very interested if anyone else is having these problems or have found a cure.
